DIAC has released its Migration Agent Statistics for the quarter October – December 2009.

Some interesting information:

•  There are now 4398 RMAs  providing Australian migration advice; 4165 providing migration advice on a commercial basis.
• 536 agents became registered during 2009, an increase of 14% in comparison to the number registered a year earlier
• 305 agents became registered during the last six months and 200 have become registered since October 2009.
