Australian Employment Growth Surpassing Predictions

The  Department of Education Employment and Workplace Relations has confirmed that Australia’s employment is likely to grow more quickly than than predicted. Its Monthly Leading Indicator of Employment has risen for the sixth month in succession, confirming that the Indicator troughed in July.

The implications of this for Australia’s skilled migration program are significant – hopefully DIAC will recognise this evidenced need for skilled workers and take it into account when preparing  for its December announcement about the results of the MODL Review.
