UPDATE ON MODL REVIEW

I’ve just been advised by a senior DIAC officer that there will be no announcement about the MODL Review this month.

Recommendations from the MODL Review are currently being compiled and then will be put to Government for consideration. It is possible that an announcement will be made sometime in December.

People intending to lodge visa applications for their overseas family members to visit Australia are advised to do so before Friday 6 November 2009. Applications lodged after Friday 6 November 2009 will more than likely not be finalised before 25 December 2009.
